• Leavenworth: "The First City of Kansas" is located in the rolling hills of NE Kansas on the Missouri River. Leavenworth is home to Saint Mary College, Dwight D Eisenhower Veterans Affairs Medical Center and Leavenworth Federal Penitentiary, as well as many historical homes and sites.
  
  
• Historic Fort Leavenworth: The oldest Army installation in service west of the Mississippi. At one time it was home to Generals Custer, Shermann, and Lee, as well as MacArthur, Eisenhower and Powell.
  
  
• Beautiful Weston, Missouri: Know for it's many antique shops nestled among rolling hills high above the Missouri River. A most surprising find in Weston is, Snowcreek, a ski resort offering a 300 ft. vertical drop. 30% of the resort is dedicated to beginners, 60% for intermediate, 5% for advance, and 5% of the resort is a terrain park. There are 2 Triple Chairlifts, 1 Double Chairlift and 3 Rope Tows. Snow Creek also offers: Ski Lessons, Rental Shop Equipment, Lodging Accommodations as well as Souvenir & Gift Items.
  
  
• Atchison: Their Motto is: "It's a Great Day in Atchison, Kansas." Home of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company as well as Amelia Earhart, who in 1932, became the first woman to make a solo transatlantic flight.
