Collection of early frontier memorabilia and artifacts including
buggies and cutters that were manufactured in Leavenworth.
Exhibits include mock-up of the United States Penitentiary
and other prison memorabilia, Buffalo Bill Cody exhibit,
Great Western stoves, Leavenworth Fire Department 1950s
Mack fire truck, one of only two wooden dugout canoes (other
one in Smithsonian), old time kitchen appliances and numerous
other artifacts, all related to Leavenworth.
The museum is open Thursdays & Fridays Noon - 4:00 p.m.
and Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. For special visits or
