Description of Service:
Charter for Youth is a community coalition which assures opportunity,
resources and support in their effort to become successful adults.
Project Freedom is a supportive effort to that end, focusing on
the reduction of substance abuse among adolescents in the Leavenworth,
Lansing and Fort Leavenworth communities. Working together, we attempt
to mobilize and motivate the community to take the initiative in
findig ways to make our community a better place to live and raise
families. We meet monthly (2nd Thursday of every month) at the Leavenworth
Public Library at 5:00 p.m. We always need interested caring people.
