| A guide provided by the Leavenworth Historical Society, will join a bus tour and give the highlights of the historical sites around the city. Points of interest include the Harvey House, historic homes, the Riverfront Community Center Union Depot, Leavenworth's Victorian Carroll Mansion & Museum, the United States Federal Penitentiary, the Dwight D. | Guided tour of the 19th century 16-room victorian mansion furnished in the style of the period. Open May through August, monday through Saturday, 10:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Sunday, 1-4:30 p.m.; September through April, Daily 1-4:30 p.m. Closed January and major holidays. Tour lasts about one hour.
