The mission of Neighborhood House is to provide services essential
to development; and to help participants gain a sense of belonging
and importance to the community; and to work in conjunction with other
agencies to promote safety, unity and prosperity of all within our
community. Neighborhood House serves children from 2 1/2 to 18 years
of age. The schedule is as follows: Monday games for children; Tuesday
arts and craft club and St. Mary students tutor children; Wednesday
after school tutoring; Thursday conflict control and resolution class,
Friday Parents Support Group. The Neighborhood house has a preschool
for 2 1/2 to 6 year olds Monday through Thursday. Neighborhood House
is a food service provides and provides lunch and supper Monday through
Friday.Needs:
Volunteers and donations are always needed. |
